kidnapped, held captive, and tortured!

I know I should try to write something every day in order to hold the interest of my many loyal readers (ha ha), but I always have plenty of excuses for not writing.  For example, last Friday, after finishing my chores in town, I drove back to the trailer park and changed into my "two dollar" swim shorts.  I was planning to walk on the beach for a while and every few minutes, I'd go in the water to be refreshed by its salty  goodness.
After about two or three hundred meters, I heard some nice music.  I like accordion music, so I  walked a bit closer to where the musicians were performing.
Suddenly, and by surprise, I was kidnapped and detained and compelled to sit in a chair while the kidnappers tortured me by forcing me to consume large quantities of tequila, one drink after another, for the whole afternoon!  I was powerless  to resist.  They punished me further by compelling me to listen to hour after hour of accordian music, sometimes performed by a group of up to five musicians, with guitar, bass, and other stringed instruments (no trumpets, though).  They hired almost every musician that walked past in an effort to break my will.
The worst part of it is that the politicians  of both the  federal and state governments are involved in this corrupt racket of kidnapping  the poor, gullible Canadian tourists and holding them hostage. I can say this because it turned out that these two  miscreants, Giovanni (state of  Jalisco) and his brother Alberto (federal) are both employed in the "public sector" when they are not busy pursuing their life of crime.  I was finally able to convince them the Michigan is not a Canadian province, we only just share a border with Canada.  Then, reluctantly, they released me from captivity.
