update

I got home to Michigan late Wednesday, March 15th. The weather was nice and warm on Thursday and Friday, a bit colder with rain on Saturday. But Sunday it was warm enough for me to help my son replace the brake pads and rotors on his car.
Also, I have ordered a new range, or cooktop, for the kitchen. My wife and son had an appliance repairman come to the house over the winter and he said that the old one should be replaced. It had been leaking slightly for a few years and you could smell it every once in a while, but I did not think it was a big problem yet. But, anyhow, we are going to get a new one. I think I found a pretty good deal on the internet and it will fit in the existing hole in the kitchen counter.

We got more snow starting Monday and now it has kind of crusted over with ice. The temperature is just about right for things to melt in the daytime and freeze over again at night, so this can create slippery conditions, of course, on the roads and sidewalks.
My motorhome is still in Nashville and I have no idea when the repairs will be completed. The estimate is that it will cost about ten thousand dollars to fix it. I am glad the accident happened in the United States and close to home (well, only 600 miles) instead of somewhere that the insurance business might have been more complicated.
I was going toinclude pictures of the RV and the snow, but cannot find the little cord that will transfer the photos from the camera to the computer. The cord moght still be in Nashville! Anyway, I will try to include a pic of the new stovetop.
