Yesterday I visited Cuitzeo, a "Pueblo Magico" (Magic Town) just over the border from Guanajuato State.  Cuitzeo is located in Michoacan.  The Pueblos Magicos are 32 or 35 towns that have well-preserved colonial architecture or abundant natural beauty or great historical significance or something of that nature to recommend them.

Here are a  bunch of pictures of the Augustinian Convent for Friars in Cuitzeo.  There's also a picture of  another stubborn and uncooperative Mexican who didn't want to trade hats with me.  Also the new public market of Cuitzeo, which some idiot decided should be built on the outskirts of town about a mile from the center (Cuitzeo is a very small town.)  Naturally, nobody wants to hike all the way out to the new market so it just sits there, abandoned for all intents and purposes, while the towns vendors sell their goods on the sidewalks and in the main plaza in the town center.

Ayer visité Cuitzeo, un "Pueblo Mágico" (Pueblo Mágico) justo en la frontera del Estado de Guanajuato. Cuitzeo se encuentra en Michoacán. Los Pueblos Mágicos son 32 o 35 municipios que tienen muy bien conservada arquitectura colonial y una abundante belleza natural o de gran significación histórica o algo de esa naturaleza a los recomiendo.

Aquí hay un montón de fotos del convento agustino de hermanos en Cuitzeo. También hay una foto de otro terco y poco cooperativa mexicana que no quiere negociar sombreros conmigo. Además el nuevo mercado público de Cuitzeo, que algún idiota decidió nota se construirá en las afueras de la ciudad a una milla del centro (Cuitzeo es un pueblo muy pequeño.) Naturalmente, nadie quiere caminar todo el camino hacia el nuevo mercado para simplemente se sienta allí, abandonado por todos los efectos, mientras que los vendedores de las ciudades vender sus mercancías en las aceras y en la plaza principal en el centro del pueblo.
