I went from Oaxaca to Cuernavaca on Sunday, then took a look at Cuernavaca's downtown on Monday morning.  There are a couple of museums that are supposed to be worth visiting, but since it was a Monday they were closed.  One of them is is a big "palace" that Hernan Cortez built for himself.

There is a deep canyon right in the middle of Cuernavaca that has been turned into a very nice and peaceful park with walkways built into the natural geography.

The cathedral is very large and very old.  There are paintings on the wall inside.  I think one of them is supposed to represent the Spanish coming to Mexico.  Work on this cathedral was begun only about 25 years after the Spanish first came to the new world.

Monday afternoon I drove to Tlalpujahua and have spent the last two nights here.  It's a very nice and historic little town that doesn't seem to see much tourism.  Nothing happens here at night.  It is very quiet and peaceful.

Me pasó de Oaxaca a Cuernavaca el domingo, luego echó un vistazo en Cuernavaca, centro de la ciudad el lunes por la mañana. Hay un par de museos que se supone que vale la pena visitar, pero puesto que era un lunes se cerraron. Uno de ellos es un gran "Palacio" que Hernan Cortez por sí mismo.

Hay un profundo cañón en el centro de Cuernavaca que se ha convertido en un parque muy agradable y tranquilo con pasarelas construidas en la geografía natural.

La Catedral es muy grande y muy viejo. Hay cuadros en la pared interior. Creo que uno de ellos va a representar a los españoles a México. Trabajo en esta catedral fue comenzado unos 25 años después de los españoles por primera vez al nuevo mundo.

El lunes por la tarde condujo a Tlalpujahua y han pasado las dos últimas noches aquí. Es un pequeño pueblo muy bonito e histórico que no parece mucho turismo. Nada sucede aquí en la noche. Es muy tranquilo y Pacífico.
