Mission statement

I've decided to start writing this "blog" as a way to keep people (if anyone is interested) informed about my travels and to share fotos.  This way I don't have to send emails to people who don't want them, but are just too polite to say so.  I hope to leave in two or three weeks for Mexico (and maybe farther) and not come back until it is time to file my taxes.

 It seems pretty easy to put up the pictures and they seem to come out a pretty good size, though I'm still getting the hang of it.
